The locomotive „Count Bismarck XV" with its historic carriages, affectionately known as the „Schluff" by the citizens of Krefeld, is the „rolling landmark" of Krefeld. In 1995 it was named the „moving memorial" by the city. From May to September the „Schluff" runs on Sundays on a preserved section of the oldest private railway line in Germany. Via the historic „Crefelder Nordbahnhof", the train runs from St. Tönis to the local recreation area of „Hülser Berg" and back. Bicycles can be transported in a separate carriage.
